If you’re always traveling like me, there’s a good chance you don’t have time to reserve and drive to go get a massage, especially last minute. Well, unless you happen to be in Thailand where they’re offered every five feet. This genius app is pretty much like Uber for massages, AKA, awesome!
You simply open the app, choose your massage, masseuse, and time, and they come to you! Masseuses are certified, and background checked, and bring their own massage table, music, and supplies. Your tip is included in the cost, and is all done from the app, just like Uber! I know you’re going to question whether getting an in-home massage is safe or creepy, but I tried one and my masseuse was very professional, trust me, I’d be the first to complain if any sketchiness was going on.
The CEO, Merlin Kauffman created the app because as a world traveler himself, he also found it difficult to find a last minute massage, and moreso, that sometimes he didn’t feel like leaving the hotel to find one. He asked many massage therapists how they liked working in spas and they told him they only make a fraction of what the actual massage costs and tend to have a lot of free time. So he took the spa factor out to bring you the same professionals to your home for a fraction of the cost, which benefits them too!
