Yesterday in Hollywood, the streets were packed with limos and town cars filled with beautiful people and celebrities trying to make it to their Oscars 2015 parties in the rain. There were several black-tie Oscar viewing parties around town, including the one I attended that was hosted by Treats! Magazine and presented by OMNIA, at a phenomenal $35.5 million, four-level villa in Bel Air.
The fabulous affair was one of three over the weekend, which also celebrated the launch of issue 8 of Treats! Magazine and attracted celebs like Leonardo DiCaprio, Ed Westwick, Halle Barry, Scott Eastwood, Ryan Seacrest and Randy Jackson amongst many other familiar faces.

On Sunday, after a strapping-clad of about eight young men checked people in on their iPad-lists, they congregated in one of four areas in the enormous mansion. Glamorous and chic bars were set up in each of the areas, with a selection of Absolute Elyx specialty cocktails that were served in copper pineapple chalices that made you feel like you had your own Oscar statue…but in the shape of a fruit.
In the first room, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors took up half of the room and offered a view of the rain-ridden infinity pool and deck, while the remaining two walls showcased life-sized artistic nudes from the recent edition of Treats! Magazine.
At the opposite end of the estate, a gourmet buffet was set up with signature dishes from Church Key, and they even had their very own pastry chef there making ice cream with liquid nitrogen. A small seating area was arranged next to another Absolute Elyx bar, and another flat screen TV was set up as it was in every area, for gown and tux-clad guests to enjoy the Oscars.
Other party perks included a photo booth, and an extremely interesting piece of new technology that you put on like goggles, and it displays a 360 degree, 3D video that literally makes you feel like you’re in another place. Mind was definitely blown.
The festivities continued late into the evening, concluding a full weekend-long celebration.
