4 Outdoor Activities You Need These Sandals For

Looking for the perfect outdoor activity sandals? I’ve just tested out the Cybele Sandal by Bionica Shoes and would highly recommend them for your next adventure!

To sum it up, it feels like you’re walking with moon shoes on; they’re soft, bouncy, lightweight, and secure! Added bonus is that they’re easy to put on and take off and they look super cute!

I recently wore them in the Cook Islands, where they effortlessly endured every type of outdoor activity you can possibly imagine! I’ll list a few here and tell you why the Cybele Sandal was the perfect outdoor activity sandal for it!

Beach Rock Climbing

We stopped along the side of the road where we saw an epic black rock formation in the water that we just had to check out! Since the rocks were made from lava, they were relatively rough enough to climb, but the sturdy grips of the Cybele Sandal’s soles made it even easier!

They also prevented us from burning our feet on the hot rock surfaces, while keeping them cool with their airy design. They also proved to be perfect for when we swam across the channel to climb onto the main rock island, and helped prevent slippage on the wet rocks!

Jungle Village Exploring

There were so many cute side streets in the Cook Islands that led straight into the mountainous jungle! Exploring them was another fun thing that these outdoor activity sandals were perfect for!

I felt like I could not only walk comfortably forever in them, but also be safe against anything sharp I may encounter along the way. The comfortable straps also make them ideal for walking long distances and on different types of terrain!

All Around Fun in the Sun

One thing that’s never fun is when you want to wear a functional shoe in a sunny destination, but they’re so bulky that they literally make your feet sweat! The Cybele Sandal doesn’t give you that problem because their simplistic strap design allows for maximum air circulation around your feet. Or as my friends in the Cook Islands like to say, they have built-in “Foot Air Conditioner”.

Chances are that your fun in the sun outdoor activities are going to involve way more than just laying around, so while they also keep your feet cool, they’ll keep you on the go as well!

Kayaking and Paddleboarding

If you have the goal of NOT flipping over in a paddleboard or kayak, these sandals are going to be your best friend! Their rubber grip soles are perfect for staying planted on a plastic or acrylic board, and their lightweight design will avoid any clunky mishaps.

Staying on the board is usually half the battle, which is why the Cybele’s are also perfect for that hot-sand walk to the water! You may want to take a cool dunk in after all that work, and their one-strap velcro closure is easy to take off in case you decide you want to jump in!

Get your feet in your very own pair of perfect outdoor activities sandals on the Bionica website, and have a look around at some of their other options!
