Favorite Photos of Japan

Japan was one of the most incredible places I’ve visited, not only because it was so fun to take photos there, but because the people were so considerate, the streets were so clean, and it just overall really seemed like they had their sh*t in order!

Here are my favorite photos from Japan, if you like them, please show me some love on Instagram, it really does make a difference if you do! And if you’d like any information about any of the photos, please click HERE.

  • Stunning pics!! I'm going to Japan for the first time in April and I'll be sure to hit up as many of these places as I can

  • Hi Alyssa!

Ive never been to Japan but really want to go! I was recently in Taiwan but flights were so expensive to Japan from Taiwan because it was cherry blossom season at that time. But SOON! I met some people in Taiwan who have been to Japan and they were telling me how friendly and clean Japan is.

  • Hello Alyssa, I'm María Luz from Argentina. I'm 24 years old I've wanted to visit Japan since I was about 16. Could you tell me in more detail how it was to be there? It will be of great help when I can finally go there =) Of course I'll find a way to help you back haha! I hope I'm not bothering you.

Thanks in advance and congratulations on your blog!

    • Hi Maria! I LOVE Japan! And highly recommend it for solo female travelers! Everyone is so polite, respectful, and helpful! It's a beautiful, clean, and interesting country, and of course the food is AMAZING! If you are interested, I've written a couple other blogs on Japan (one of them is about why it's my favorite country for solo female travel) that are under the "Japan" tab that could help you out more! Hope you get to go there! And have fun!!

  • Alyssa, I saw you getting interviewed at narita airport on tv!
And then after that, I took a peek at your instagram and this website.
I'm glad you had a nice time in Japan and thanks for saying that we Japanese are considerate.
Since I got to know you and your amazing blog, I'll be looking into your website often from now on!

P.S. Please be careful traveling solo around the globe!

    • Thank you so much Tommy! Yes I loved Japan so much! I even wrote about it in The Huffington Post! Hope to visit again soon one day! And yes, I am always careful traveling solo, thank you!!

  • Alyssa.. Are you planning to travel anywhere during the 1st week of September? Looking to plan a trip but don't want it to be all the way solo. Would be nice to have someone to plan some activities with.

If anyone is travelling solo and care to share their destination/plan, email me with details. I am open to destinations and would like to chat!
