How to Get the Biggest Discounts on Travel with TripValet

I’ve been traveling for four years now, two of which have been full time. I’ve been to over 70 countries, all 7 continents, 7 World Wonders, and 7 Wonders of Nature. I’m not saying this to brag, I’m saying this to back my claims that I am definitely a travel expert!

A big part of being a travel expert is knowing all the tips and tricks for traveling affordably, otherwise you won’t get very far! That being said, I’m excited to share with you an awesome secret for how to get the biggest discounts on travel! It’s called TripValet, and it’s a members-only platform that gives you access to insider deals on various means of travel!

I’ve tested TripValet’s price results against the normal deal-finder website that I use, and again and again it proved to be less! You don’t even have to take my word for it, because I’m going to show you actual screen shots to prove it below!

But first here’s a little more information about TripValet:

How Does TripValet Get the Better Discounts?

Instead of waiting for promotions or last minute discounts, TripValet specially negotiates guaranteed pricing and savings on trips, travel, vacations, cruises, and more. That means they invest in holding a certain amount of spots at top destinations in advance, so that you have access to them when you decide to go.

How Much Savings Are We Talking?

You can get up to 70% discounts, and you can even rank your search results according to the highest discounts first! This is a great option if you’re looking for a massive deal on luxury! TripValet prices beat other booking sites 80%-90% of the time, and they have a 110% Best Price Guarantee!

For example, next week I need a hotel in Washington D.C. for five nights, and I want to stay in the nicer area of Georgetown.

On TripValet, I found the Fairmont, a 5-star hotel, for $653 for five nights, which is only $112 per night! Then I checked the website I usually use (Booking) for the same hotel on the same dates, and it’s listed as $1,645, and that’s WITH their “discount” (public price is $1,795).

Now that’s just an example of a local deal that I’m using for a business trip…check out some of the places that I found abroad with equally as epic discounts!

Maldives, anyone?

Where Does TripValet Work?

Worldwide baby! They have deals with over 400,000 top brand name hotels and resorts, and they also offer discounts on cruises, flights, cars, tours, golf tee times, and restaurants!

How Much is the Membership?

Yes, there is a membership fee, but the good news is you’ll likely make it back in savings on your first trip! The cost is $97 for the year or $11.99 per month, which in my opinion is a really good deal for how many discounts you’ll get! If you’re planning on taking 2 or more trips this year, you definitely need a TripValet membership!

Monthly Trip Giveaway Perks!

It is my duty as a travel expert, blogger, and enthusiast to not only inspire and motivate you to travel more, but also to help you travel more as well! That’s why I’ve teamed up with TripValet to do Monthly Trip Giveaways on Instagram, which will get you a multiple night stay at a 5-star resort, with an airfare voucher included!

TripValet members get DOUBLE entry points, and all you have to do to enter is be sure to be following us, and leave a comment! There’s literally no excuse not to do that and try to get free travel!

That being said, be sure to be following me (@mylifesatravelmovie) and (@tripvalet) on Instagram, and subscribe to our posts so you don’t miss the giveaway announcement!

If you have any questions at all about TripValet, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment below and I’ll answer them! Otherwise, see you in the TripValet Club!

  • Hey Alyssa,
I was wondering how it works if you want to quit your membership? Do you have to pay for a whole year first before you're able to quit your subscription?

    • I think if you email them with your reasons for canceling they may be able to adjust it and help you out!

  • I’m very interested in joining, but I am curious... is this best for saving on hotels? I am trying to find new ways to save on airline costs - does this membership provide good discounts on this as well?

    Thanks!

    • Hi Shawna! It has flight discounts as well, and I'm actually currently working with them to see if they can add the flexible destination finder to make flights even cheaper!

  • Sounds interesting! Is TripValet good for non-luxury hotels/brands? I'm interested in signing up for a membership, but I have some hesitations...

    • Yes! I'm currently making a video to show the comparisons but it lists budget/affordable accommodations as well!

  • Hi Alyssa, thank you for sharing this! I've never heard about TripValet but it looks really great with so many promotions.

I need to start testing it too!

  • Congratulations on being named brand ambassador for TripValet. Very likely something I wouldn’t have heard of, if not for following your Instagram. Membership sounds like a great price for what’s being offered discount wise. Maybe I will be able to travel around a few countries I didn’t think I would be able to afford.

      • Was looking at signing up to TripValet today (great promo video by the way????) any chance you can advise if TripValet does New Zealand hotel / Adventure deals, like Waitomo Accomodation? Etc. keep up the great content, but don’t forget to relax and take holidays as well!
