Reconnecting with the Wild

Teahupoo Tahiti Mylifesamovie.com

During my trip to French Polynesia, I had the opportunity to embark on an epic adventure in the untouched shorelines of Teahupoo in Tahiti. The area is so secluded that you can only get to it by boat, and you won’t find any buildings or structures other than the occasional island residence nestled in the mountainside.

You won’t have time to worry about your phone while you’re swimming in the clear blue waters along the coast, trekking along the shore, and even swimming into a grotto to see a waterfall!

Seeking New Adventures

If you’re certified, you’ll LOVE the colorful sea life in Rangiroa, and the the opportunity to swim with friendly sharks and stingrays. If you’re not certified, you can still have the opportunity to take an introductory scuba course, and where else better to do it than in French Polynesia!

But let’s not forget about the over-water adventures either! The Islands of Tahiti offer every sort of epic adventure you can imagine; from stand up paddle boarding in the ocean, to ATV excursions in the lush jungle mountains!

Relaxing in Secluded Luxury

Rangiroa French Polynesia Because who doesn’t want to disconnect and relax in their own private piece of paradise? From pristine beaches to private over-water bungalows, French Polynesia is the place to go for solitude and secluded luxury. If relaxing in your own bungalow has been one of your life-long dreams, be sure to tell them why in your video!

Don’t forget to visualize the ever-luxurious Tahitian oils and deliciously fragrant frangipani flowers! There’s a good chance you’ll be wearing them as a necklace or flower crown the entire time you’re there!

Embracing a Magical Culture embrace the mana mylifesamovie

There was just something magical about the French Polynesians that had me mesmerized and feeling really cultured and connected to life. It was through them I learned the meaning of Mana; the spiritual life force that connects and surrounds all living things, and through my visit there that I was able to really experience it.

My Mana definitely was found while adventuring through the secluded jungle coastlines and chasing waterfalls in Tahiti, what do you think yours would be?

For more information about the experience, and inspiration for your audition video, check out the latest episode of “Two Stories/One Mana”, which brought a real-life couple from Los Angeles to The Islands of Tahiti last summer to document their Mana experiences!

The twist was that the couple; Thom, a creative project manager, and Jeff, a nonprofit development manager, were sent on different discoveries of the islands in order to find their own separate versions of Mana before sharing it with each other.

“It was great to pull away from each other and go and have our own diverse and different experiences, then come back together and share what we did.” Jeff said, noting that he loved being encouraged to find a balance of unplugging and reconnecting.

“I was surprised by the culture,” said Thom. “You look one way and see European architecture and cafes, then turn and see palm trees and mountains. It’s these different cultures in one fun place. The people really wanted us to have a good time, making us feel very welcome.”

So what are you waiting for? It only takes 15 seconds and YOU could be on your way to The Islands of Tahiti!

Below are the first two chapters of “Two Stories/One Mana” for some more inspiration!

Chapter 1: Michel & Elisabeth

Chapter 2: Alan & Leah
