I had no idea what or where Svalbard was before someone recommended that I travel there and checking out Spitsbergen Travel, located in the Northernmost town in the world there called Longyearbyen. Before I knew it I was booking a flight to an Arctic archipelago next to the North Pole and going snowmobiling, ice cave exploring, and even dog sledding! Yes I froze my ass off, but it was one of the coolest (and coldest) experiences of my life!
By the way, did I mention I traveled there solo? Or more importantly, that I’m from Florida, live in LA, and only saw snow fall for the first time in January? Yeah, it’s a pretty funny video, check it out!
