How to Plan and Host Group Trips

INDIA Wonders & Holi Group Trip 2023

It’s FINALLY back! One of our highest in demand My Life’s a Travel Tribe Group Trips — INDIA WONDERS, and this time it’s going to be better than ever, because we’re going during Holi! In case you don’t know what Holi is, it’s the festival of color (and spring) where you throw colorful powder at each other!

A major perk of going on this specific trip, is that we will be having a private Holi festival to avoid the typical safety issues that happen in the streets…like touching or groping. It’s the only way we personally would want to experience it, so here’s your opportunity to experience it safely and fabulously as well! OH by the way! It’s a VIP event happening because we happened to make friends with the epic woman (a tattoo artist) who owns the shop that the famous viewpoint of the Pink Palace (Wind Palace) is at!

This is the most fabulous, fun, and SAFE way to see India, especially if you’re regularly a solo female traveler! And in an effort to support women in India, we are ONLY using female-run businesses and guides! We can’t wait for you to meet these amazing women!

Please read the full itinerary below as well as cancellation policy. If you are 100% ready to book, please click BOOK NOW!

NOTE! We are opening spots to this trip FIRST to people who have previously signed up, and then to past Travel Tribers!

Cancellation Policy

Please read this carefully! As full time travelers, we know things come up that can lead us to cancelling a trip…but we also know that a lot of things are non-refundable, which is why our $500 deposit is non-refundable, so we just want to emphasize that here! And also give you exact details of some ways we can help make up for any loses if the timing is long enough in advance.

Our cancellation policy is based on our local tour companies’ policies as well for timing until things like hotels and tours are not refundable, as well as our own fees for all of the admin and work we do to create these trips, and handle all of your bookings! We hope you understand!

This is also why we make travel insurance MANDATORY, and we highly recommend getting it around the same time you book your flights. That way if a covered issue happens like a flight cancellation or delay, or you (god forbid) get hospitalized or covid, the insurance will likely cover your trip.

However, if you cancel for PERSONAL reasons, including work-related issues, financial-issues, family-issues, or fear of travel, the insurance does not cover those reasons, and neither can we, however we try to be as flexible as possible!

Below is an overview of our cancellation policy timeline for personal reasons:

  • Up to 8 months before: Deposit can be moved to another trip, any other payments refunded
  • Up to 6 months before: 1/2 of deposit can be moved to another trip, any other payments refunded
  • Up to 3 months before: 1/4 of deposit can be moved to another trip and other payments refunded *if spot is filled only, otherwise non-refundable deposit + potential fees from tour company deducted from remaining payment refunds.
  • Less than 3 months before: deposit non-refundable, any additional payments refunded if the spot is filled, if the spot isn’t filled, a deduction will apply and any remainder will be refunded
  • Less than 1 month before: Non-refundable

For emergency health situations; we will evaluate them on a per basis situation depending on the time of cancellation and ability to have travel insurance cover it or not.

For COVID Reasons: Hopefully by next year, we will finally be free of this catastrophe known as Covid, however it’s impossible to tell. If you happen to get Covid before the trip, you will need to file through your travel insurance for a refund, and they will require you to show proof through a doctor. If you test positive for a test needing to board a flight, again, you will need to go to a doctor to verify it, and then go through your insurance for a refund. IF you forget to get your vaccine, or a booster, or a test (all if applicable at the time), those unfortunately all fall under “personal reasons”. We will always do our best to keep you updated on the latest rules and regulations, but it’s up to you to pay attention to them and plan accordingly for your trip!

If WE cancel or postpone the trip for any reason, you will always have the option of a full refund or to move payments to another trip.
