I just recently returned from a trip with Alyssa to Antarctica. This was actually my 3rd trip with her and definitely one of the most amazing trips. My previous trips included Japan and hiking to Mount Everest Base Camp (MEBC was the same year as the Antarctica trip and was epic, rewarding, and definitely worthwhile).
I’ve travelled with Alyssa so many times because her trips are planned exceptionally. I like that everything is essentially taken care of – the itinerary/activities, transportation, hotels, meals, etc. – and I don’t have to plan or worry about anything day-to-day. It’s also an added bonus that Alyssa plans most of these trips to places that she has been to, so she uses her experience and knowledge of these places to create trips made for the best experience possible.
I can tell how well thought out these trips are and what I always appreciate is that there is so much communication and information provided for these trips. There are newsletters provided months before each trip with thorough information and a group chat is also started right before the trip so you get to chat with your tripmates right beforehand. You also get to meet so many like-minded and thoughtful people on these adventures. It’s refreshing being surrounded by a group of people who love to travel and have new experiences with others. I would definitely recommend her trips if you haven’t been on one yet!
Incredible!, doesn’t even begin to describe my first adventure with Mylifesatravel movie. I went to Antarctica with Alyssa and crew and it was beyond amazing! From the time I signed up, to the months leading up to the trip, to the trip and even afterwards; I felt informed, welcomed and so at ease with everything that took place. It was such a memorable experience and I made some amazing new friends while checking off my 6th continent. Now I’m signed up for 2 more trips with mylifesatravelmovie this year and I’m so excited!

Just went on the Antarctica trip and it was magical! Thanks to Alyssa and Jenna had the most amazing trip. Highly recommend going on traveltribe trips, they’re very well planned where you don’t have to think about anything and you meet the most amazing travel like minded people and also can meet lifetime friends all over the world. This is was my third trip with Alyssa and plan on doing any more!
I’ve just come back from ticking off my biggest bucketlist item – Antarctica!
Alyssa was actually the whole reason Antarctica was on my list to start with because prior to 2017, I had no idea tourist expeditions went there. So joining my first travel tribe group and going with Alyssa herself was very fitting.
The travel tribe group was so much fun! It was so great to meet and travel with other likeminded people who were just so friendly, respectful and fun! (And who knew how to take photos for each other!)
Whilst we were on the expedition company’s schedule, Alyssa fit in both fun and informative activities just for us in between 😊 and our welcome gifts are something I’ll treasure forever.

I’m so glad I was able to cross off my 7th Continent with My Life’s A Travel Tribe! Everything was so smooth and FUN! I made so many incredible new friends and I am very excited to go on another trip in the future!
This was my 2nd Travel Tribe trip with Alyssa, and I am very pleased to say it was to ANTARCTICA!!!!!!! I don’t know how much more adventure you can ask for than an expedition to the pristine, 7th continent?! Oh, and penguins… LOTS of these little adorable things. Topped with a polar plunge and whale sightings, this was an UNFORGETTABLE trip!
Antarctica was the final continent I needed as I wanted to get to all 7 in my 30s. But it seemed too expensive, confusing, cold and boring to do alone. A friend referred me to Alyssa and her Travel Tribe, and luckily for me they had a spot open up just in time. Even though i am a man, the group welcomed me in with open arms!
The trip and cruise team were exceptional! I was really impressed with their order of operation and compassion for the environment, and dedication to safety and fun.
If that was the whole story, I would have been happy! But going with this fun group of most ladies doubled the fun as I got to meet so many cool people from all over the world, make new friends, enjoyed extra bonus events and mini-parties, and overall just an enhanced experience. Thank you for making it such a memorable and positive time!
I’ve just returned from the Tanzania + Zanzibar 2022 group trip and let me tell you that it was such an amazing experience! Not only did we spot the Big 5 in the Ngorongoro and Serengeti but we also got to swim with dolphins in the Indian ocean.
The travel tribe was so much fun! I’ve met interesting and hilarious people. We had such a blast!
Overall, the trip exceeded my expectations, both in Tanzania and Zanzibar. MONEY WELL SPENT!!

My trip to Antarctica is the trip of life time and going with Alyssa made it even more memorable and special for me.
I have been traveling solo or with my spouse around the world and never had the experience of traveling in a group (leave alone a group as large as 65 poeple) for an entire trip and adventure.
I admit I was very nervous as who are these people and how all 65 of us with 65 different personalities could be managed to ensure everyone is enjoying the trip and having fun being together and learning about one another.
Well, thanks to Alyssa’s organized and informative detailed planning, most of us connected to each other on the group chat she created on social media before the trip and started conversations and brain storming and suggestions and advices on metallic outfits, medications and fun activity that we wanted to experience on the Antarctic expedition.
Alyssa was very attentive to everyone during the trip and very approachable.
Alyssa planed several fun activities and different parties on the ship for the group and what I like the most that she created a very friendly and welcoming environment for the group that everyone felt comfortable to participate in activities including some of the expedition team members.
I’d like to acknowledge all the amazing 65 people that I traveled with to Antarctica. I’m very grateful for the experience that I have shared and made with this wonderful group and trusted Alyssa to join her tour on this journey.
I hope there will be anther chance in future to experience all the great time I had with Alyssa and Antarctica 2021 group in a different trip on this planet.

I traveled with Alyssa on her Egypt trip in September 2021 and cannot say enough good things about both the trip and Alyssa herself! To start with I was a little hesitant to book on one of Alyssa’s trips because although I have been a long time follower of hers I am older than her typical group trip member. How wrong I was to hesitate! Alyssa and all of the group trip members were more than accepting, they were welcoming and we had the most fantastic time in Egypt! I loved the small group style of the trip and it made the dynamic that much better. It was easy to hear when the Egyptologist was telling us information about the locations and regaling us with the most interesting/entertaining stories! Beyond that Egypt was a bucket list trip for me and I can honestly say that it was absolutely magical. From seeing the places I’d dreamed of for so long to having the best adventures like the hot air balloon ride. I am looking forward to doing another trop with Alyssa hopefully soon!
In 2021 I went on my first three group trips with Alyssa! Egypt, Patagonia, and Antarctica. All were full of fun, adventures, and insane amounts of laughs. The best part is the truly life long friends I have met on these trips. I met and became best friends with people I would have otherwise never met in my life including Alyssa and I couldn’t be more thankful. The trips are so much fun and Alyssa picks the best guides to take us around and show us their country and customs to the point that they all feel like a part of our little family on each trip! If you’re on the fence about signing up, just do it! Haha

I went with Alyssa to Antarctica in 2021 and to call it a trip of a lifetime would still be underselling it. Antarctica had been on my bucket list for a while but going with her made it so much more memorable. Her attention to detail is unmatched – monthly news letters before the trip, helpful group chats and forums in the weeks leading up to the trip, packing guides, thoughtful welcome gifts, fun costume and karaoke parties once we were on the boat (who else does Antarctica in a penguin onesie?!), and making sure all 64 of us felt welcomed, included, had an amazing time and also had all the badass pictures our hearts could desire documenting this trip. If you’re debating traveling with Alyssa, DO IT. You won’t regret it. The memories and friendships I made on this trip, thanks to her, are invaluable.
Our trip to Antarctica was awesome! Alyssa answered questions promptly leading up to the trip, and she planned fun activities while on board the ship. Met some amazing, like-minded travelers and had tons of fun!! Definitely recommend traveling with My Life’s a Travel Movie.

Alyssa went above and beyond making the Antarctica 2021 trip happen for all of us and all of her efforts paid off big time! Going to Antarctica with Alyssa and all the like-minded travelers/adventurers that joined her group was the best decision I’ve ever made! The expedition was an incredible, life changing experience full of fun, learning, laughter, and new friendships. Can’t wait for my next trip with her to Africa!!
I went with Alyssa on the Antarctica 2021 tour and had an amazing time! We had to make a few changes with our trip due to the pandemic but Alyssa communicated frequently whenever she had updates. It was clear that she and her team were advocating for the group and ensuring that we would get a full experience. Then once arrangements were made, she created forums for us to ask questions to her and also of each other. This information was amazing to have in order to pack appropriately and we shared tips and tricks on money exchange and where to stay! Even for those traveling solo, this created a network for information exchange and sharing. The trip was absolutely amazing from the accommodations, food, and experiences. Alyssha worked above and beyond to make sure that we had the information we needed and had quality time with the other group members. I could not have imagined a group getting along better than we did and it was amazing to meet so many different people from different walks of life! I went to Patagonia and Antarctica with Alyssa, and these trips far exceeded my expectations! Alyssa does a great job planning all aspects of the trip and making sure every single person is having a great time! I met so many life-long friends during these trips and have sooo many incredible memories!
I can also trust Alyssa to book experiences for the group that support local businesses and sustainable tourism. She truly practices what she preaches on social media and encourages everyone in the group to do the same! I 100% recommend going on a group trip with Alyssa!!
I’ve now been on two amazing trips with Alyssa! Both were experiences of a lifetime! She comes up with some crazy fabulous ideas that I never would have (dancing in saris at the Taj Mahal and penguin onesies in Antarctica…does it get any better?!). Would absolutely book another adventure with her!
I had such a great time in Antarctica! I was originally planning my own trip with my sister. We decided to join the group trip because it looked like so much fun and I’m so glad we did. We met like minded people to explore Antarctica with and made lifelong friends/future travel buddies.
Alyssa went above and beyond to plan extra activities for us like photo workshops, editing classes, holiday party, white elephant, onesie party, games, talent show, and non stop laughter on top of the great program the Antarctica cruise had planned. Theres just so much extra value in joining her group trip.
Alyssa’s Turkey trip was nothing short of magical. It was my first time on a group trip and going in I only knew my mom but by the end of the trip, we all felt like friends/cousins and it was sad having to say goodbye. Alyssa did a great job planning all of the sightseeings so we were able to get the best photo but also had time for wine (+ raki) and shopping. We learned so much about the Turkish culture, religion and way of life and I always felt safe and comfortable. Shout out to Lutfi, the best guide hands down! The accommodations, transportation, and restaurants were also all top notch. Alyssa did a great job of incorporating group activities and also giving us down time. She was super thoughtful, friendly, giving, and just a real pleasure to get to know. Also, shout out to Alyssa for arranging the most beautiful professional photoshoot with gorgeous flying dresses and hot air balloons in Cappadocia! All in all, the best way I can describe this trip is as the perfect combination of “truly immersing yourself in the culture” with “living your best model/photographer life” with “luxurious fun travel.” I promise you won’t regret this trip!! I created some lifetime memories with my mom. Thank you so much Alyssa, our home is always open to you and to the look-me-ladies tribe!💙🧿
Best adventure to date for me! I can honestly say I’ve made life-long friends who I will be going on many more trips with. Alyssa knew what the group wanted — amazing photo ops!! But not only that, I learned so much history and had unique experiences I would have never done if I wasn’t on this tour.
