One of the most increasingly popular U.S. adventure destinations in 2022 is Jackson Hole, Wyoming! Which means you need to start planning now to make sure you get all of your accommodations and tours booked as soon as possible!

There’s so many epic adventures at Jackson Hole in Summer, so it’s really no wonder why so many people are heading there! From a hot air balloon at sunrise, to a day trip to the beautiful Yellowstone National Park, there’s an adventure for everyone in Jackson Hole!

You can find a vast array of types of places to stay, from cabins, to entire houses, and even teepees! Be sure to book as soon as possible because accommodations book up quickly!

Ride the Jackson Hole Gondola

Spectacular views, an enjoyable ride, and guaranteed social distancing! If this sounds like the ideal adventure for you in Jackson Hole, you’ll definitely want to book tickets for the Bridger Gondola ride!

It only takes 12 minutes, and then you’ll be up to 2,700 feet, where you can see drone-like views of Teton’s alpine terrain! At the top you can grab a bite at The Deck at Piste, or add on additional adventures like the ones below!

Hike to Panoramic Views

For a fun, fresh, and FREE adventure in Jackson Hole, head out on one of the many hiking trails! You can start at the base of Teton Village, or take the gondola up to the top and start from there!

During the summer you can hike through wildlower fields as you take in the panoramic views of Jackson Hole! Bring a bag lunch for a picnic, or stop at one of the many hike-to-restaurants!

Imagine seeing the sun wash over the stunning nature of Jackson Hole, from a hot air balloon! From up high, in the calm quiet mystique of the early morning, you’ll be able to admire Grand Teton National Park, and Snake River.

Go Paragliding

You’ll be paired with a professional pilot, so no experience is necessary. Just open your arms like a bird, and enjoy the flight!

Rock Climb Via Ferrata

Another activity for the extreme adventurers, is to rock climb Via Ferrata! Learn first from professional guides, and then follow the secure handles and ropes straight up sheer granite walls!

No professional experience is needed, and this is actually considered an adventure that’s great for families or groups (kids need to be 10 or older).

Take A Raft Down Jackson Hole’s Snake River

Don’t let the name of the river scare you! Snake River in Jackson Hole is calm, scenic, and brimming with wildlife! On this relaxing drifting adventure, you might be able to see moose, deer, and even river otters! So be sure to have your camera ready!

The 13 mile scenic raft trips only takes about three hours, but you can upgrade to extend it. The extension takes you further down the river, where you can also see the Grand Tetons!

Horseback Riding in the Bridger-Teton National Forest

If you want an adventure in Jackson Hole that also guarantees social distancing, this horseback riding tour is for you! Enjoy the wide open spaces, and fresh air as you explore the trails of the Bridger-Teton National Forest!

You’ll start the tour from Moran (about 35 miles from Jackson) and can choose between short tours or longer day trips!

Take a Day Trip to Yellowstone National Park

If you’re going to Jackson Hole, you shouldn’t miss a trip to Yellowstone National Park as well! There are many day trip tours available, or if you’re roadtripping, you can do it yourself!

Many of the Yellowstone tours include stops at Old Faithful, the Lower Falls of Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and of course, tons of wildlife! Most tours right now are offering small group sizes only to help practice social distancing, so again, be sure to book in advance!
