It’s my third day in Havana and I finally found internet at one of the nice hotels called El Presidente, just a few blocks from the “casa” I’m staying at. It’s 4 CUC for an hour, and extremely hard to connect.

Yes – Cuba is amazingly beautiful, and it feels like being transported back to the 1950’s

Yes – There are amazing 1950’s cars everywhere…mine looks like a 1950’s Bat Mobile, and it’s AWESOME.

Yes – My Spanish has improved drastically in the past few days because no one speaks English.

Yes – The internet is very hard to find, and expensive.

No – You can’t just “come here now”

I only have 30 minutes for internet so will post a few photos before I leave to see some of my family in Santiago de las Vegas! Ciao!
