How to Manifest and Get Everything You Want

How to manifest and live your dreams; a workshop by someone who has manifested and achieved the dream life!

Everything I have now started as a dream. I envisioned getting paid to travel for a living, a cozy apartment I’d love coming home to in a foreign country, and finally finding a husband who can handle my awesomeness and unconventional lifestyle—and I went after each of those things with relentless focus (but like, not all at the same time, over the span of 10 years).

Maybe you call it manifesting; maybe it was stubbornness, ambition, and single-minded action. Either way, every destination I’ve stood in was once a postcard in my imagination. Every conversation, flight, and post began as a decision: I decided I would have it, then I did the internal work and the external work to make it real. That’s the heart of this workshop: learn to clear the noise, choose what you truly want, and align your daily actions so those visions become your life!

I’m not super spiritual, I don’t preach meditation, but I do believe the universe has a plan for each person, and that you should trust it, and trust that everything will happen when it’s supposed to. So if the things you want don’t happen right away, don’t give up, just keep focusing on them and working towards them!

Oh also, I am by no means a professional shaman, life coach, meditation teacher, etc. This is just what I personally do and have done, that seems to work, so I’m sharing it!

What is Manifestation?

Manifestation is the process of creating real-world outcomes by aligning your inner world—your beliefs, emotions, and focus—with intentional action. It’s not magic that replaces effort; it’s a disciplined combination of clearing limiting patterns, clarifying desire, and taking consistent steps that open the doors you imagine.

There are plenty of qualified professional people who offer workshops, but again, this is just what I personally do! I’ve learned bits and pieces from the many spiritual people and places I’ve encountered on my travels in over 145 countries, so I know at least some if it is legitimate!

Here’s my personal process to manifest and get what you want!

There are two steps, treat them both with equal importance, and don’t skip the first step!

Step 1 — Clear the Negativity (the Essential First Step)

The most effective manifestation begins with removing what blocks you. Negativity—unforgiven trauma, lingering anger, gossip, harsh self-talk, imposter syndrome, fear of failure, fear of judgement, and an inflated ego—sours your vibration and narrows possibility.

Before you try to call in new things, release what’s draining you. Forgive where possible, stop the cycle of rumor and blame, and choose compassion for yourself and others. This isn’t denial; it’s practical energetic hygiene. You must have a clear, positive mindset in order to receive positive results.

EXERCISE: Release and Forgive

This might sound silly to some people, but I have done this exercise several times for people and have seen amazing results and feedback. Don’t holdback anything, including rage and tears!

Here’s the steps to release negativity:

  1. Find a private space, a paper, and a pen. I don’t normally like to encourage wasting paper, but this really works better to physically get the thoughts and feelings down, rather than typing it out. Write down lingering negative thoughts, feelings, traumas, resentments, and anger—be specific. Don’t censor yourself.
  2. Visualize each item as a static red wire inside you—tense, sharp, pulsing. One by one imagine gently pulling a wire out of your body and onto the paper as you transfer it out of you, handing it to the universe to disintegrate.
  3. Then, physically tear up the paper (or, if safe and appropriate, burn it), repeat a healing mantra such as: – “This was not my fault. I am an amazing person.”, “I forgive and release this person from living rent free in my mind, I will move on.” “This wasn’t meant to be, better things are coming.” “Get TF out of my mind and soul, I deserve better.” (If you tear, dispose of paper responsibly; if you burn, do so safely.) If you happen to be near a body of water or a forest, you can find a nice heavy rock, and throw it as hard as possible while repeating the mantra or even letting out a little roar!
  4. Close with three slow and deep breaths and a promise to yourself: “I will not carry this anymore. It’s gone.” Or perhaps, “The only baggage I’ll be carrying from now on, are the ones to travel with!”

Step 2 — Manifest What You Truly Want (Then Stop at Nothing to Make it Happen)

Now that you’ve emptied the backpack of old weights, decide what will actually make you happy, what you truly desire. Is it health, love, creative freedom, financial success, adventure? Identify the desires that light you up! Remember the top 3 that come to your mind first!

Exercise: Write Out Specifics and Plans of Action

In this exercise, you’ll write everything out again, this time to help get your dreams and goals out into the universe. It’s essential to remember that a big part of manifesting, is actions, because if you just keep everything inside of you, how will it ever get out and happen?

Here’s the steps I do to manifest what I want:

  1. First, with your mind clear, envision yourself having the things you truly desire. Be as specific as possible. What are you wearing? How old are you? Where do you live? Who are you with? What are you talking about? Are you flying business class in a trendy casual suit with a new laptop, sipping champagne as you blog about the country you were just sent to blog about because that’s your full-time job? What are three things you envision yourself doing or having that make you happy?
  2. On a new piece of paper, write the three things you most want right now. Be extremely specific—details matter. Instead of “travel,” write “lead photography trips in Portugal twice a year” or instead of “love,” write “a partner who values an independent, successful, slightly strange, free-spirited woman, and who happens to live on a vineyard in Italy.” (Last part is a joke, kind of). Leave space under each item so that they are equally distributed on the whole page or use separate pages.
  3. Under each desire, write three obstacles currently preventing or stopping you from getting it. Be honest—internal and external blockers both counts. Do you feel you are unable to leave a job due to comfort and security? Do you think you don’t have enough money to start your own business or travel? Do you feel like there just “aren’t any good guys/girls” where you live? Write it all down, and don’t hold back.
  4. Now, look at all those things you just wrote, and realize they are negative thoughts. Sorry to be harsh, but they are. We will refer to them as “blockers”, because they are blocking your dreams from happening. Below each blocker, list 3 concrete actions you personally can take to remove or lessen it, and move towards the main goal. If it’s love, do you need to change preference habits, expand where you meet people, or shift your type? (FYI I did all of those things and immediately met my husband). If it’s money, what new skills, networking, or monetization approaches will you try? If it’s health, what routines do you need to add or subtract?
  5. Now, cross the hell out of the blockers, so that you’re only left with the actionable thoughts. Get rid of those negative thoughts and things holding you back and only focus on the ways to get past them, and the ways to make your goals happen.

Congratulations! You now have your manifestation guidelines, but the work is not done yet! Keep reading!

Goal-setting and daily routines

Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals tied to each desire. Small milestones keep momentum. If you have a calendar, use it, otherwise write out the months of the year, and write one small milestone you want to achieve in each month.

Every morning, remind yourself of those goals. Spend 5–10 minutes in meditation or quiet focus with a positive mantra such as: “I am doing my best, and I will make my dreams come true.” Let this be your tuning fork for the day—ask, “What one thing today moves this forward?”

A very important aspect of manifestation is having a clear vision of what you want at all times, because that will help you avoid and distractions, obstacles, or just falling back into what you’re used to.

Remember, consistency is key. Don’t just do this exercise right now and expect everything to happen. You have to keep trying every day, little by little, or as much as you can!

Final visualization exercise — pull your dreams into your body

how to manifest and live your dreams

Sit comfortably, breathe deeply, and picture shiny golden threads—intertwined with your favorite color—swirling above you. See each thread represent a goal: partner, home, job, trip. Visualize them bright and alive. Reach both arms up and imagine pulling those threads down through your crown, into your head, through your heart, and into the center of your being. Feel warmth, possibility, and purpose spreading through you. Hold for a few breaths, then imagine those threads settling into actions—tiny steps you will take this week, and will continue to take until your dreams become reality.

Closing encouragement

Manifestation is not a passive wish; it’s the combination of clearing what holds you back, clarifying what you want, and doing the work to bring it into reality. Start with the release exercise, then commit to specific actions and regular reassessment. Your dreams aren’t fantasy—they’re plans waiting for brave, consistent people to build them. Once you realize that you are in charge of making your dreams happen, and once you start working hard to achieve them, the universe will always be on your side, I promise you that!

It’s extremely important also to not fall back into negative thoughts. From now on, moving forward, if someone or something upsets you, let it go, don’t let it linger, don’t react. If you don’t achieve your goals immediately, if you don’t get the new job, if you don’t immediately find your partner, do not give up! This takes time! And you have time!
