As promised, here is a tutorial on how to make your still photos animated with an app called Plotagraph! The feature works best on photos with water (like all of my waterfall pics on Instagram) or clouds!
If you found this tutorial useful, please consider crediting me on an animated post, since this is not a sponsored post (AKA I’m not making money or gaining anything), and I just made it since so many people wanted to know how to do it too! <3
Below is also the written steps and photos, but the video above is better!

That is such a cool trick. Will definitely try this one out. Have you tried it with other ‘moving’ objects?

Hi,
This is an off the topic question but I hardly see it addressed on the many full-time traveler blogs I follow. I think your lifestyle is totaly doable but I have one fear and that is what to do about health insurance. How do you handle health insurance when you’re travelling? Where does your coverage come from and what is covered? Might be a great topic for a new post!
Thanks,
Melissa
Hi Melissa! I have travel insurance through Allianz (I have 2 blog posts with further details) for emergencies, and then I have regular health insurance in the US. Usually general health care is extremely cheap abroad so the travel insurance is enough 🙂
Ooh loopsie, cool. Must go check that out. Thanks, Alyssa!
You’re welcome, Ciara! Glad you found it helpful!

free would have been better ?
Me getting paid by the app to make a tutorial and get thousands of people to sign up would have been the best! But we can’t win everything! lol
Thank you very much for this tutorial. It is very helpful. I really like your animated photos and it’s great that you share it with us. Unfortunately this app is not available for Android. Thanks again for the tutorial 🙂
Aww thank you for taking the time to still watch the tutorial and leave a comment! Very kind of you! I believe there is a somewhat similar app for Android called “Loopsie”!
