How to Save and Make Money to Travel Using TripValet

As you may have noticed, I’ve been promoting a company called TripValet a lot recently, and you may be wondering what it is! In a nutshell, it’s a membership-only travel deal finder website that has better discounts than most other deal-finder platforms!

The savings are real, and I often post them on my Instagram Stories to show you the comparison to other sites! I also use TripValet regularly during my travels and show in real time how awesome the hotels are I find, and then how much of a discount I got!

So that’s the savings portion of TripValet, now you probably want to know how it can actually make you money to travel as well, right? The answer is simple; affiliate sales.

If you’re already a blogger, you’re probably familiar with the way affiliate sales and links work, and how they can create a recurring income on their own on your website.

For those who aren’t familiar with affiliate sales and links, I’ll explain the process below in regards to how TripValet’s program works!

1. What is Affiliate Sales?

Affiliate Sales is when a product, company, or service gives you a commission/percentage of sales that you make by posting about it or even just referring through word of mouth.

2. What is an Affiliate Link?

An affiliate link is a special code made specifically for you/your website that tracks sales of a product/service that you post about so that you get the commission off of it.

3. What is TripValet’s Affiliate Program?

TripValet gives you 40% of any membership that you sell. That means you’ll make $38.80 for every Basic Membership you sell (price is $97), and $118.80 off of every VIP Membership you sell (price is $297).

As an affiliate, you’ll also have access to TripValet’s affiliate incentives that they do each month, such as competitions for free trips, and weekly webinars with business tips.

Another added incentive is that if you know someone who would make a great affiliate, and you refer them to sign up, you’ll get 10% of any membership sale they make (and they’ll still get their full 40%!)

4. Who Should Join This Affiliate Program?

In order to be successful at making money from affiliate sales, you need to at least have an audience of people who trust you (or even a network of friends and family members who look to you for travel advice!).

If you have a blog, Facebook group, Twitter chat, Pinterest tribe, mailing list, etc., you have the capability of making affiliate sales. Also, don’t let the size of your audience intimidate you if it’s not that big; it’s all about having an audience that trusts you, and you being a trustworthy travel expert!

In fact, affiliate sales are really great for beginner blogger/influencers who aren’t getting high paying sponsored posts yet! They give you the opportunity to get paid, while teaching you that you are in charge of the quality of your posts and audience, and the success of your campaigns.

For example, for all of you aspiring to make $1000+ “Just by making an Instagram post”, but you have less than 200k followers and have no statistics proving you’ve sold items before, here’s your chance to show you can really sell a product (which is the goal of influencer/blogger marketing). And if you’re really good at it, you can make that much by selling 10 memberships, and you don’t even need to have 200k followers!

5. Ways to Promote TripValet as an Affiliate

First and foremost, you never want to promote the fact that you are an affiliate, because then people are automatically going to think you’re doing it to make a sale (unless you’re purposely trying to onboard people to be affiliates too). Instead, you need to really get to know and love the product, and think of creative, convincing, yet honest ways to sell it.

Blog posts explaining how it works and showing screenshots of travel deals work well, and you can add in your affiliate link for people to sign up. Browsing different locations for epic deals, then making promotions on social media showing that deal with a great photo (that you took or have rights to post), and a link to it (AKA your affiliate link) works well and can be done as often as you please.

I take full advantage of the Swipe Up feature (available once you reach 50k on Instagram) to link travel deals I find there, and for those who don’t have that feature, you can put the link in your bio and refer to it there!

Don’t forget though that if you’re doing a blog or social media post that you’re getting paid for, you need to follow the FCC guidelines to disclose that properly. AKA using #ad #sponsored, or writing out a disclaimer on a blog post!

6. How to Sign up and Get Started!

Step 1: You’ll first need to be a TripValet member in order to take advantage of the affiliate program, so you’ll need to purchase a membership, but don’t worry, you can make that money back in the first two sales you make! Since I’m working right now to write this out for you, I’ll go ahead and refer to my own affiliate link because…#sponsored 😉 Please sign up using TripValetWithAlyssa.info

Step 2: Familiarize yourself with TripValet as a customer, and make sure you love it and ask any questions before jumping into your posts!

Step 3: Once you have a membership, and you’ve familiarized yourself with the platform, you’ll have access to the affiliate dashboard, where you’ll apply for your very own link like mine.

The process is manual, not computer-generated, so please be patient while the awesome tech guys get you set up!

Step 4: Start creating content and spreading the word! Remember to always post compelling images and concise wording that will clearly get the message across and make your audience excited for great travel deals!

Step 5: Get paid! At the end of each month you’ll be able to see on your affiliate dashboard how many sales you’ve made and how much money is coming your way!

I hope you’re as excited to make some extra money as I am to share this amazing opportunity with you! Don’t forget to save your statistics to show other brands your ROI and why they should work with you!
