Did you know that the Niagara Falls spring super blooms are said to be the best in North America? In fact, there’s so many daffodils that Niagara Falls has become known as the daffodil capital of North America!

What could possibly be more magical than seeing thousands of flowers surrounding one of the most epic waterfalls in the world?! Perhaps only a couple of unicorns or puppies running around as well! So if you want the ultimate, enchanting, spring vacation, here’s how to plan a trip to see the Niagara Falls sping super blooms in 2021!

When to See the Niagara Falls Spring Super Blooms

Early April is the best time to see the Niagara Falls spring super blooms! You’ll be able to see them for most of the month, but the earlier you can go, the better!

Since the window of opportunity to see the super blooms is somewhat narrow, you’ll need to be sure to make plans in advance! Accommodations are already starting to book up fast for spring, see below for your options and book ASAP!

Where to See the Niagara Falls Spring Super Blooms

For daffodils, you’ll want to head to Queen Victoria Park on the Canadian side of the border! Enjoy the vibrant yellow daffodils in full bloom near the border of Niagara Falls! Swoon!

For tulips, you can find millions of them everywhere you look! Some of the best places to go see them are at Centennial Lilac Garden, and down the river near the Lewiston-Queenston International Bridge!

You can also head to the Niagara Parks Commission’s Botanical Gardens, where there’s 99 acres of gardens with different kinds of colorful springtime flowers!

Where to Stay in Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls has two sides, the Canadian side and the US side. Right now, where you stay logistically will depend on where you have your citizenship since the border is closed. Where you stay will also depend on your budget!

There’s tons of different types of places to stay on each side! From luxury hotels with a view of the falls, to camping in the beautiful nature that surrounds the area. There’s also several hotels near the Fallsview Casino, which has a ton of entertainment options and even an outlet mall!

You can also find budget motels, hostels, and BnB’s! Plus if you have a car, and can stay a bit farther away, the prices go down!

How to Get Around Niagara Falls

If it’s the Niagara Falls spring super blooms you’re after, the best way to get around is by car. Either your own, or a rental! Or if you like to stay active and eco-friendly, you can also bike or walk!

To get to the actual Niagara Falls waterfall, you may want to take WEGO, the public transportation there. It stops at almost every hotel and brings you to all the main attractions! That way you don’t have to worry about traffic or parking!

You can also take a tour, which will pick you up from your accommodation, and some include a skip the line option!

  • I've been waiting 2 years for this adventure in Pakistan, so after an 18 hour journey to get here, I hit the ground running! Sundays are mellow and a lot less crowded, so I got a relatively chill stroll through the Kotwali Wala Bazar, where I stopped for chai, bought too many pairs of shoes and bangles, and a free hand stamp henna! Then it was off to the famous Haveli rooftop restaurant in a former mansion overlooking the mosque and other religious sites, followed by another chai, a stop at the pharmacy in the dodgier area (picked up a cold in between trips), and finally back to a 5 star hotel i found for just $65 per night! Absolutely loving it so far, and I'm so grateful for my hosts @destinationpakistan who have been so patient with my constant travel changes and made up itineraries! Cannot wait to come back here with a group already, and i haven't even gotten to the mountains yet!!! I'm going to attempt daily posts, so please be sure to follow along if you're interested in seeing more! Also yes, so far I feel safe here as a solo female travelers, but let's see how it is on a crowded Monday and after that lovely little mountain flight on Tuesday!   • Finally beat the budget airlines game!! This is for everyone who has ever gotten excited for a $20 flight in the EU, only to end up paying double for even a carryon! [Comment “travel” and I’ll DM you the link to my packing tutorial and all of these products!] For everyone who has tried to layer on as much as possible when they’re weighing bags, and who has had a mini melt down when they ask to place your bag in the measuring bin! I present to you, my top travel packing hacks as a full time travel professional: 1. Travel compression bags (now with portable pump) 2. Foldable toiletry bag with bare minimum necessities 3. Bags that sneakily expand 4. Convertible shoes This is all I packed for a 6 day trip to Venice, Mallorca, and a black tie wedding in Alicante! And if I can do it, so can you, becaaauussee I’m a former live-out-of-giant-suitcase gal from my decade as a nomad, but now with a home base in Italy (and Mexico), I’ve adapted to “bring as little as possible since you go back home”, both for convenience and to avoid thousands of dollars in baggage fees each year!   • Traveling was not a possibility for me when I was younger, yet now I’ve reached my 150th country (out of the 197 list which includes Kosovo)!! It has taken me 12 years, I’ve done most of them solo, and many have been collaborations that I received or pitched, but anything else, including most flights was solely paid for by myself, and here’s how I did it: (But first! Comment “TRAVEL” and I’ll send you links to my tips for making money while traveling, how to play flight roulette, and also this Balkans roadtrip itinerary!) 14 years ago - I started my blog but it didn’t make much money for a couple years. I used my only money and a credit card to take my first trip. I was one of the first people to pitch the concept of “free trips in exchange for social media posts” and I sent hundreds of them, always landing at least one, but there was still so much to see! With the money I earned from my blog, paid posts, and my writing for other platforms, I’d go travel but I’d play what I called “flight roulette”, where I pick “anywhere” as the destination, and choose the cheapest flight to somewhere I hadn’t been yet! As my business grew, I needed to repeat many countries each time year, and now I still travel to an average of 25 countries per year as a traveler-by-trade (influencer/entrepreneur), with the goal of 5-10 new ones each year. I never thought I’d reach all 197 countries…but now that there’s only 47 left…do I attempt it?!?!   • Traveled solo in China earlier this year and became slightly obsessed! Out of the now 150 countries I’ve been to, I think it might actually be in my top 10! I was one of the first people to pitch the concept of “free trips in exchange for social media posts” and I sent hundreds of them, always landing at least one, but there was still so much to see! With the money I earned from my blog, paid posts, and my writing for other platforms, I’d go travel but I’d play what I called “flight roulette”, where I pick “anywhere” as the destination, and choose the cheapest flight to somewhere I hadn’t been yet! As my business grew, I needed to repeat many countries each time year, and now I still travel to an average of 25 countries per year as a traveler-by-trade (influencer/entrepreneur), with the goal of 5-10 new ones each year. I never thought I’d reach all 197 countries…but now that there’s only 47 left…do I attempt it?!?! As for making money to travel - I have a lot of posts on that and also a course, which teaches techniques for everyone, not just those wanting to be a creator! And for anyone who DOES want to be a creator or group trip host — my biggest advice is to find a niche personal to you, find your specific audience who can relate, and don’t just copy other people’s techniques, create new ones and stand out! Traveling was not a possibility for me when I was younger, yet now I’ve reached my 150th country (out of the 197 list which includes Kosovo)!! It has taken me 12 years, I’ve done most of them solo, and many have been collaborations that I received or pitched, but anything else, including most flights was solely paid for by myself, and here’s how I did it: (But first!
